Morris Kandinov represented Meteora Capital Partners LP in a dispute with Roadzen Inc., an auto insurance company technology that breached a stock subscription agreement by failing to register the shares at issue and later incorrectly claimed that Meteora breached the terms of a forward purchase agreement with the company. The Delaware Court of Chancery ruled in favor of Meteora at summary judgment, finding that Meteora did not breach the contract and that Roadzen did. The case will proceed as to an award of damages to Meteora as a result of Roadzen’s breach.
